American Advising Center (AAC) at the American School of Kosova is an official EducationUSA Center, sponsored by the United States Department of State. EducationUSA is a network of professional advisers who work in approximately 450 information and advising institutions worldwide, which serve as the primary source of information and guidance on higher education opportunities in the U.S.A. for international students. This global network is supported by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State. The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) fosters mutual understanding between the United States and other countries by promoting personal, professional, and institutional ties between private citizens and organizations in the United States and abroad, as well as by presenting U.S. history, society, art and culture in all of its diversity to overseas audiences.

AAC in Kosova provides accurate, unbiased, comprehensive information to interested students and scholars from Kosova who wish to pursue their education in the United States and/or at accredited American and/or international universities worldwide.

AAC has been formally established in April 2008 as a joint cooperation between the American School of Kosova and the Department of State through US Embassy in Kosovo.
